Why Do We Love Summer Boots?

Don’t have time to touch up your pedicure? Even though “summer boots” might sound like an oxymoron style, but festival style and street fashion have given those beauties a stamp of approval. And here we’re not only thinking about short boots with wedge heels, but also about flat over-knee highs. In any color you like! There are many reasons why we like summer boots, let’s mention just some of them.

Summer is not always that hot. On cool Summer night in many places over the world, temperatures are not so high and therefore wearing lightweight pair of extremely comfortable boots is preferable. If you don’t tolerate feeling cold, sandals are not the good solution during colder summer days. Also, in air-conditioned rooms, the temperatures might be too frigid. Extra leg coverage is therefore more appropriate than sandals. Boots are usually the most comfortable footwear, especially if you like wearing socks.

What about the breath-ability? Well, there are cut out boots, as well as those booties with open toes. If it isn’t raining, high cut out boots with a shorter skirt will definitely have an effect on the male gaze. Even if you wear the classic combat boots with a feminine dress, you won’t be wrong.

When it comes to the color, you can choose whatever you want – they are available in all colors. However, I like my summer footwear to be in trendy colors, but I avoid heavy, dark tones. Neon, tan, white, stone, beige turquoise and anything cheerful – would definitely match my Summer mood and style.
