Do you want to look your absolute best on your big day? Of course you do! Who doesn’t? Not only will all your guests stare at you the whole day, but the photographers will be snapping pictures constantly. Don’t worry! If you start a few months in advance, you’ll be glowing on your wedding day for sure. With the little help from Lucas Kraus Photography professionals experienced in weddings in Brisbane, we’ve gathered some tips on looking great at your wedding!

A few months in advance (if not earlier), you should start with an increased exercise regimen. This is important for getting your body in the perfect shape. If you’re interested in losing a few pounds before the big day, you should start eating lighter too. It’s crucial not to be starving, but cutting down on fatty and sugary foods.

When it comes to the skin practice, no matter what you’ve been doing until now, it’s high time to pay more attention to it. Never go to bed without cleansing your skin. And moisture, moisture and moisture; no skin can look good if it isn’t hydrated.

A few weeks in advance you should have a haircut. This is especially recommended if you’re considering changing your hairstyle, color etc. In case you opt for visiting your hairdresser the day before the big day, the haircut could turn out not to be according to your plans. This might create panic and disappointment you don’t really need then. A few weeks or even 1 week is enough to, at least, come up with another solution and get the right hairstyle for your wedding.

Two or three days in advance you should exfoliate your skin thoroughly to allow it to heal and not to look red on your big day. Also, this is the right time to do manicure and pedicure, too, to make sure your nails, fingers and toes will look great. It is an ideal time for waxing too, so your skin looks lovely, smooth and silky.

One day before the big day, wash your hair (not in the evening, not the morning of your wedding!) because it will be perfect for styling once you visit your wedding hairstylist (or they visit you). Try to relax, visit spa and try not to worry about the next day.
