Thanks to both high fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren or Marc Jacobs and more affordable (yet stylish) brands such as Toms or Herschel, men really have an opportunity to choose man’s bags that suit them perfectly. In fact, it can be rather overwhelming to pick the bag type that is best for you. To help you skip ruining your jeans pockets by cramming everything you need into them, I’ve decided to present you best bag types for men, no matter if you’re a CEO or a college student.
A Backpack – Although it’s often seen as a bag for students, a backpack is a staple in the wardrobe of most men. A good backpack really comes in handy (even women can’t argue that) and with the proper aesthetic, style and structure it won’t make you feel as a student (if you don’t want that, of course).
A Gym Bag – If you’ve ever entered a locker room, you surely know how important a good bag for a gym is. The proper gym bag is necessary if you commute, because nobody wants to carry gym shirts and your lunch in the same bag. Herschel gym bags, for instance, have an additional pockets for shoes. If you choose the right gym bag, nobody will ever realize you’re going to the gym, because it can look stylish.
A Messenger Bag – A classic, stylish alternative to backpacks, messenger bags are very practical and men simply like them. No matter how many bag types appear, the messenger bags are there to stay as a staple in men’s wardrobe.
A Briefcase – Another tried and true option, the briefcases are classic handbags for men. Of course, a modern version looks different from the traditional box-like, hard briefcase. In fact, it looks similar to a messenger bag.
A Holdall – If you like to leave your urban jungle on the weekend, yet you don’t want to carry a classic suitcase, a holdall is just what you need. It will give you enough space to carry everything you need for a mini-vacation, yet it’s small enough to be seen as a carry-on.
